Member Meeting Minutes – June 2019

  • Call to order 12:05pm. 
  • In Attendance: Terri Torraville, Alysha Bates, Steph Brundige, Chris Haggith, Corrie Carrobourg 
  • Approval of the Minutes – Alysha moved they be accepted as presented. Steph seconded. Carried.
  • Agenda – Additions: meeting dates/times – will be 3rd Wed of the month going forward. Steph moved we approve as amended. Terri seconded. Carried.
  • President Report:
    • RVC Updates:
      • majority of the engineering complete for Centre Street upgrades but a lot of process yet to be done.
      • Fourth Street pathways are in progress and waiting to schedule paving.
      • New Firehall funding has been approved with location west of Mountain View Financial.
      • RCMP – project 3 officers will be in place April 1, 2020.
    • Website: Expected to launch this summer
    • Memberships: are now overdue and unpaid members signs will be removed July 1, 2019.
    • Federal election is scheduled for Oct 21, 2019.
  • Treasurer Report: 24 members have renewed their membership
  • Meeting adjourned 1:05pm.
